Policies

Refund and Other Policies for Ongoing Professional Development (OPD)

Face to face sessions:

  • If a session is cancelled or postponed by us for any reason we will refund all monies paid for that session unless we can make alternative arrangements acceptable to the celebrant applicants. 
  • If a celebrant does not attend a booked session, no refund will be available.
  • 7 days notice is required if you wish to change to another session.  Notification of change in less than 7 days will incur an administration fee of $50.
  • It is our responsibility to ensure our online schedule is up-to-date with venue and other information in the week prior to your session, and we will attempt to do this prior to the scheduled date of the session. We will send a confirmation email to all participants in the week prior to the session with final details of venue/times etc.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you diarise your session, confirm the venue from the website and/or the email we send and attend on the day.
  • Refunds do not apply if you fail to attend a booked session UNLESS you have notified us at least 7 days prior to the session. Please refer to our Refund Policy.

Distance education:

  • Once a celebrant has paid the fee for and received the distance education materials, the topic is deemed to have been started and no refund will be payable.

Refund

All refunds will be paid to the celebrant within 10 working days of agreement for the refund. Dishonoured cheques will incur an administrative fee of $8 plus any bank charges incurred.
